Ethyl Acetate Market: Expected to reach USD 8.83 Bn by 2030

Ethyl acetate is produced by esterification of acetic acid and ethanol in the presence of Para Toluene Sulphonic Acid as a catalyst. Glacial acetic acid, 95% ethanol and 1% PTSA are mixed and continuously fed into the esterification kettle. A suitable amount of ternary azeotrope is withdrawn from the top of the esterification column, by maintaining optimum top temperature and is then fed into the decanter.
